The Voyages
Three days aboard. One story.
A Starship Aurora voyage is an immersive story event. Hundreds of passengers share one ship, a live cast plays the characters, and what you do changes how your story goes.
How Halcy-Con 3 unfolded
A voyage, start to finish
Every voyage is designed on its own, so the next one may differ. This is how the October 2026 voyage ran.
Board and the Muster
Passengers check in on Thursday. That evening the Muster, a scripted opening scene, sets the story in motion.
Choose a faction
At Faction Recruitment you spend a Mission Token on a Mission Pin: your place on one run of a faction's Mission.
Run your Missions
Seven factions each ran eight two-hour Missions. Faction Leads brief your group, send you out, and remember what you did.
Pick up Jobs
Shorter side stories you start on the Nav and finish around the ship, often with a character waiting at the end.
Gather your faction
On Saturday afternoon each faction meets for its Faction Gathering, where its own story comes to a head.
The Main Finale
Every passenger together for the closing scene, simulated space fireworks and the jump to hyperspace.
The CVC Navigator
The ship in your pocket
The Nav is a web app on your own phone. It carries messages from characters, your schedule, puzzles, Jobs, items and achievements, and you advance it by entering codes you find aboard.
It adds to the voyage. You never need it to take part.
The cast
Characters you play beside
Faction Leads, their Supporting Characters, the ship's crew and visiting guests are played live, for the whole voyage. They answer what you say and what you do.
